Professional Development

This section provides a link to CCAT’s Online Courses – Decision Writing and Adjudication Skills for the 21st Century: An On-line Primer - and provides some background on the need for these courses. These courses are for distance education, a benefit for tribunal staff and members as well as adjudicators who do not have easy access to in-person training locations or for those whose schedule does not permit attendance at a course.  CCAT also offers interactive seminars and courses on decision writing and adjudication.

CCAT holds twice a year a practical five-day course in adjudication for members. This course provides essential tools for any new member and serves as an excellent refresher for more experienced members.
